Julian Wolkenstein wins Kodak Salon prize - Art Collector

27 November 2012 | Julian Wolkenstein is the winner of the main $3,000 prize in the Centre for Contemporary Photography’s 2012 Kodak Salon award.

The award, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, recognises developments in contemporary photomedia practice.

The Cernunnos Postiche (The Postiche Collection) was selected by a judging panel that included critic and Australian Art Collector contributor Dan Rule, the Victorian College of the Arts’ head of photography Lou Hubbard, and Naomi Cass and Karra Rees from the CCP.

Secondary prizes were awarded to Danny Cohen, Adam Stone, Kristen Lyttle, Astrid Piepschyk and Charlotte Reynolds among others.
