Julie Brunton: Undertones - Art Collector

Julie Brunton's practice is based on the natural world and the link between how we observe and perceive this world. Undertones showcases the stories of how the artist interprets landscapes - she reflects on what undertones create the vista she is viewing and then paints a memory of these interpretations, allowing different qualities and sensitivities to emerge. By doing this Brunton evokes an image that is between representation and abstraction.
