 9 January 2012 | West Australian painter Julie Dowling is now represented by Sydney’s Michael Reid at Elizabeth Bay. Dowling’s paintings draw on the traditions of European portraiture, dealing with issues of Aboriginal identity and the experiences of her ancestors, her family and her people over time.
