Karen Bloomfield & Sandra Millard: Cohabitation - Art Collector

Co-habitation examines the urbanisation of native animals explored through 2 dimensional fauna in charcoal, ink & oil and 3D representational habitat forms.

The success of the exhibition lies in the dichotomy of the artists' methods of exploration. Millard takes us into a whimsical world of colour, texture and real or imagined habitats.

In contrast, Bloomfields’ life-like animals engage us, drawing us into their space, daring us to investigate them and their habitats further.
Coupled with Australian bush sounds and an unorthodox presentation that invites the viewer to participate rather than just ‘view’, Cohabitation is engaging.

A percentage of sales benefit WIRES and Leanne Taylor, NSW CEO, will help open the exhibition at the launch on Sunday, March 8 (2pm-4pm). All welcome to attend this free event.
