Kirsten Coelho developed a new collection of ceramic work studio in her Adelaide studio that extends her residency in the Nancy Fairfax Artist in Residence Studio in September 2015.
Coelho’s work draws partly on the exploration and reinterpretation of 19th and early 20th century utilitarian wares produced for a domestic Australian market while exploring an ongoing fascination that Kirsten has with the compelling nature of objects portrayed in painting and narratives they create.
