Koji Ryui: A-Un & Sandra Selig: Air pieces - Art Collector

Koji Ryui. Installation view (artist’s studio) Courtesy: the artist and Sarah Cottier Gallery, Sydney.

Sandra Selig presents her new show air pieces featuring a new sound collage installation, which makes use of found wooden lines that are multiplied, colour-marked and rhythmned in space. Accompanying this is a series of works on clear film that investigate shape, shadow and transparency. In Gallery 2, Koji Ryui presents a new installation of repurposed glass vessels and figurative sculptures that explore emptiness and the act of making sound - specifically, the cosmic sounds ‘A’ and ‘Un’ (the first and last letters of the Sanskrit alphabet).
