Lorne Sculpture Biennale reveals line up - Art Collector

19 June 2013 | The Lorne Sculpture Biennale has just announced the artists selected for its upcoming edition. Curator Julie Collins has chosen 41 artists to contribute works, including Louise Paramor, Fredrick White and Candy Stevens (pictured above).

Only three artists are from outside Victoria - Greer Taylor from New South Wales; Rainer Schlueter from Queensland and Greg Johns from South Australia, the winner of the 2011 Lorne Biennale and the 2012 McClelland Award. You can view the complete list of artists

There will be nearly $50,000 worth of prizes to be won. The recipients of the awards will be selected by judging panel Tony Ellwood, director of the National Gallery of Victoria; Jason Smith, director and CEO of Heide Museum of Modern Art in Melbourne and artist Heide Wood.

The 2014 Biennale will run from 8 to 30 March in Lorne, Victoria.
