The newly-returned Melbourne Art Fair has just released an exclusive sneak peek of its 5-day Collector Program running parallel to the fair this August.

Set to provide a first-class Victorian cultural experience, the program offers VIP access to the fair as well as invitation only events, studio visits, private collection tours, exhibition openings and private receptions.

A program highlight is first access to the biennial Visual Arts Awards that will take place at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art on Saturday 4 August. The full program will be released in due course.

“Owned and managed by the Melbourne Art Foundation, Melbourne Art Fair stands apart in its ability to bring together all facets of the art community and has in turn created a content rich program that will appeal to both art lovers and experienced collectors,” says Melbourne Art Foundation CEO, Maree Di Pasquale.

Repositioned to align with the growing global demand for more intimate fairs with a regional flavour, the 15th edition of the Melbourne Art Fair will be held from 2 to 5 August 2018 in the Southbank Arts Precinct and alongside ACCA.

Perhaps unique for an art fair organiser, Melbourne Art Fair encourages collectors to experience all that the city has to offer that week, including satellite art fairs such as Spring 1883.

“Over 50 Victorian cultural organisations, institutions, art spaces, satellite fairs and galleries have come together in the staging of Melbourne Art Week and we want you to experience all the city and the state has to offer.”

To celebrate the return of Melbourne Art Week, Melbourne Art Fair has released a limited number of Art Collector Passes that provide access to the Vernissage, the 5-Day Collector Program and unlimited entry to the Fair. Packages start from $200 and are available from melbourneartfair.com.au/tickets.
