MARGARET LOY PULA WINS PADDINGTON PRIZE
Margaret Loy Pula wins Paddington Prize - Art Collector
|10 October 2011 | Margaret Loy Pula has won the $20,000 Paddington Art Prize for a work titled Anatye (Bush Potato). |
Loy Pula was selected from a field of 68 finalists by a judging panel that included artist Cressida Campbell and curator William Wright.
She is the daughter of painter Kathleen Petyarre and the mother of Abie Loy Kemarre.
The award exhibition will continue until 16 October 2011 at the Menzies Art Brands showrooms in Kensington, Sydney.
