Max Angus: A Tribute - Art Collector

On 30th October, 2016 Max Angus will be 102 years of age. He has continued to paint regularly up to this day. Angus has given his life to art and provides an undeniable legacy of Tasmanian landscape painting, referencing the Derwent, East Coast and his particular passion the legendary Lake Pedder. This exhibition highlights his most recent work. As part of the celebration, it is further supported by a list of invited artists, significant Tasmanian landscape painters in their own right, as a tribute to the inspiration, lifelong dedication and outstanding artistic achievement that Max has given to generations of artists and audiences. Participants include Tim Burns, Geoff Dyer, Patricia Giles, David Keeling, Stephen Lees, Michael McWilliams, Jerzy Michalski, Roger Murphy, Ian Parry, Chen Ping, Tom Samek, Luke Wagner, Philip Wolfhagen and others.
