A continued exploration of still life, playing with the composition, lighting and placement of imagined objects within a space. “I work in the realist tradition because I feel it offers me the most challenges in the practice of fine art painting. I like to further challenge myself by inventing many of the objects that appear in my work.” Michael was the winner of the 2017 City of Busselton Art Award. This solo show is a part of the prize package.
