Mick Wikilyiri’s vibrant paintings portray his unique view of the world. His landscapes are thoughtfully depicted through striking imagery, stylistic experimentation and intense colour; his mind’s eye dominates the brush & paint.

As a respected elder in his community, Mick Wikilyiri’s highly contemporary paintings are a celebration of Anangu culture, as well as a means to protect cultural ties for future generations.

His first solo exhibition, Wikilyiri has previously exhibited in group exhibitions with fellow Anangu artists including Hector Burton and Ray Ken. His paintings are featured in prominent art collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Parliament House Art Collection, Canberra and significant private collections in Australia & abroad.
