Out of the box showcases works which show continued evolution in Miles Allen's geometric abstractionist style. He tickles curiosity and perceptions by extracting subtle beauties from European fruit and vegetable boxes destined to remain unnoticed and discarded. Allen then cuts up these printed boxes, blends his own complementary colours into the wood to create intricate rhythmic patterns which enhance the pre-existing prints of fruit, vegetables, logos and product details.
