28 May 2012 | Artist Callum Morton has been reappointed to the National Gallery of Australia Council for a further three-year term.

“Mr Morton, who is also professor of fine art at Monash University, has already made a valuable contribution to the council in his first term as both an artist and academic, helping to build on the reputation and expertise of the gallery as a leading cultural institution,” said Arts Minister Simon Crean, who announced the appointment.

Catherine Harris, who sits on the board of the gallery’s foundation, was also appointed to the council.
