NGA opens new wing on 1 October - Art Collector

7 September 2010 | The National Gallery of Australia has set a date for the opening of stage one of the gallery redevelopment.

The new wing - which comprises 11 new Indigenous art galleries, a function hall, an expanded gallery shop and cafe - opens to the public on 1 October 2010.

Governor General Quentin Bryce AC will preside over the official opening on 30 September 2010.
