NGA to release Indigenous arts report - Art Collector

29 June 2010 | This Wednesday the National Gallery of Australia will be launching its report into Indigenous participation in the visual arts industry. Australia's Indigenous Visual Arts: A Pathway to a Bright Future highlights the issues and barriers preventing Indigenous participation in the visual arts, particularly the business and administration side of the industry, and also reports the findings of industry consultation on the gallery's proposed Indigenous visual arts fellowship.

At the launch, NGA director Ron Radford is also expected to announce the gallery's response to the report and announce the structure and format of the new fellowship program.
