NATIONAL GALLERY OF VICTORIA CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL RETURNS IN 2015
National Gallery of Victoria Children’s Festival returns in 2015 - Art Collector
|Express Yourself! NGV Summer Children’s Festival|
Last year the National Gallery of Victoria’s (NGV) Children’s Festival drew more than 10,000 visitors and it returns in 2015 with a focus on creative expression through fashion and design.
This year’s free Express Yourself! NGV Summer Children’s Festival will run from 17 to 26 January, offering a crowded program of artist-led activites and workshops for children.
Tony Ellwood, director of the NGV says: “The Children’s Festival is a fantastic opportunity for our younger visitors to meet the artists and work with them to create their own artwork, hopefully inspiring future artists and gallery goers. The first art party for teens is a particularly exciting event as we’re inviting young, developing creatives to curate their own art experiences in the gallery.”
Visit ngv.vic.gov.au for the full program.
