Fred Williams, You Yangs Landscape 1, 1963. Oil on masonite, 137 x 180.3cm. Sold at Bonhams sale of Reg Grundy Art Collection on 26 June 2013 for an artist record of over $2.2 million.

31 July 2013 | Following its success with the recent sale of the Grundy collection, Bonhams has announced the appointment of Merryn Schriever to its Sydney office. Joining Bonhams as their Australian art specialist, Schriever previously held the role of senior art specialist for over five years with Deutscher and Hackett.

In Melbourne (and Beijing) the Australia China Art Foundation (ACAF) has announced a series of new appointments. They include Korean curator Jeong Ho Lee as arts project coordinator at the ACAF Melbourne space. Lee worked at assistant curator at Takeda Art Gallery in Tokyo and has coordinated numerous art fairs and exhibitions in Japan and Korea. Her interest in Australian art was in fact sparked after seeing some of the Australian artists exhibited at last year's Korean International Art Fair. The ACAF also announced Mil Wang as the manager of their artist residence program and studios in Beijing.
