This exhibition of interactive artworks includes key works from the past seven years by Melbourne based artist Nick Selenitsch. Installed across the ground floor of Shepparton Art Museum, Play showcases newly commissioned work alongside specially recreated past works including Wallpiece (2008-), and Limbo (2010-). Get active and limbo under the pole, throw the squash ball into the wall, and enjoy this hands-on exhibition.

Selenitsch’s practice draws upon imagery from modern abstraction as well as games and sport, and transforms the markings, colours and participation in these activities into sculptural works using everyday objects and materials. Using common materials such as felt, velcro, timber and squash balls, Selenitsch’s work creates a series of abstract challenges for visitors to participate in. Other works in the show present the trajectory of Selenitsch’s practice in developing these motifs and reference points.
