Party pic wins Sydney Life photo prize - Australian Art Collector

4 October 2011 | Sydney photographer James Brickwood has won the $10,000 Sydney Life photographic competition, which is run as part of the City of Sydney’s Art & About festival.

Brickwood’s photo of an embracing couple, watched over by an obscenely sweaty man with dilated pupils, was selected by a judging panel that included Moshe Rosenzweig from the Head On Photo Festival.

The work will be exhibited in Hyde Park until 23 October 2011 as part of the finalists exhibition.
