Bett Gallery starts a new chapter in the gallery’s history, opening its new space in Hobart CBD with two incredible solo exhibitions by nationally renowned and celebrated Tasmanian artists Pat Brassington and Amanda Davies.

‘On a clear day’ showcases a new body of works from the Tasmanian-born Pat Brassington, considered one of Australia’s most highly respected and influential contemporary artists. With a career spanning four decades, her practice reflects a strong interest in surrealism, feminism and psychoanalysis. Brassington was recently awarded the 2018 prestigious Australia Council award for visual arts, recognising and celebrating the significant contributions of this leading artists to the artistic and cultural vibrancy of the nation.
