Through the Archipelago II is an exhibition of sculptures of Australian native wildlife, including cassowaries, tree kangaroos, and the sugar gliders that frequent the bush around the artist’s home in the Blue Mountains. Peter Cooley’s artistic practice contrasts much of contemporary art, making his work the subject of much attention from public institutions and private collectors. Cooley’s works are held in the collections of important public institutions such as the Art Gallery of Western Australia, University of Queensland Art Museum and Artbank.
