Senior Amata artist and elder Ray Ken showcases new paintings in his second solo exhibition. In this dynamic new body of work, Ken draws on his traditional Anangu knowledge of land and law together with a bold colour palette and striking linear compositions to achieve a highly sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic. His vibrant and unique depictions of his country in the APY Lands, South Australia are both a celebration of his culture, and a means to protect important cultural ties for future generations.
