| 14 February 2011 | A solo exhibition by Melbourne’s Reko Rennie is currently on view at the Kluge-Ruhe Institute in the United States. The institute, which is affiliated with the University of Virginia, is committed to collecting and showing Australian Aboriginal art. During a two-week residency at the Kluge-Ruhe Collection, Rennie used spray paint and stencils on the walls of one of the institute’s gallery spaces. | ||||
| Patternation has already proved popular, attracting a record-breaking crowd for the exhibition’s opening night according to exhibition organisers. The exhibition will continue until 4 April 2011, when Rennie’s installation will be painted over to make way for the next exhibition. | ||||
