So was born in Hong Kong in 1974, moving to Australia a year later, but since 2005 she has been living and working in London.
In Newspeak: British Art Now, Part II, the second instalment of Saatchi Gallery’s survey of emerging British art, her work will be featured alongside that of artists such as Spartacus Chetwynd, Carla Busuttil and Maurizio Anzeri.
Saatchi Gallery has a reputation for blockbuster exhibitions – recent shows have drawn between 300,000 and 400,000 visitors – and with this exhibition scheduled to run for over two months, So is set to win considerable exposure.
