Robert Habel: Days at Deddington - Art Collector

Robert Habel is an artist pulled by two worlds. The series of paintings exhibited in Days at Deddington is born directly from Habel's polarized heritage - his childhood stomping ground deep in the heart of Deddington in Oxford, England and his current home in South Australia where his Germanic ancestors first settled.

Habel's work is strongly influenced by these geographies. Each piece in this exhibition has a sibling, with one work painted in his South Australian studio and the other painted on site in the Deddington landscape.
