Sam Jinks wows crowds at Shepparton - Art Collector

25 June 2012 | The Sam Jinks solo exhibition Body in Time has set records for the Shepparton Art Museum, drawing over 10,000 people to the regional gallery in six weeks, with the exhibition yet to close.

The exhibition, which includes 11 of Jinks’s sculptures, has impressed the public, according to SAM curator Danny Lacy. Visitor surveys have recorded feedback including “His art is absolutely fantastic. I am in wonder at it,” and “This exhibition will blow you away”.

The exhibition closes 1 July 2012 and will then tour to Lismore Regional Gallery in New South Wales and Rockhampton Art Gallery in Queensland.
