5 October 2010 | Richard Klekociuk has won the $10,000 main prize in the 32nd City of Burnie TasArt Exhibition, a competition staged by the Burnie Coastal Art Group.

His winning work,
Silence at the Table, is a coloured pencil drawing of a rundown farm worker’s cottage in Northern Tasmania.

Currently based in Launceston, Klekociuk will soon be moving to Cairns for 14 months. “I want to challenge myself after 34 years of working in the same environment,” he says.
