In 2012 The Albury Art Gallery will celebrate the centenary of Russell Drysdale's birth though Drawing on Drysdale. Born in 1912, Russell Drysdale through his impaired vision encouraged a new way of seeing the Australian landscape and the Australia people. 100 years on and the Albury Art Gallery will explore the way that Drysdale saw, and how he transferred that vision to works of art. The exhibition brings together drawings, sketches, objects and writings into an exhibition that acknowledges one of the great Australian Artists of the 20th Century.
