Sophie Gannon expands stable - Australian Art Collector
13 February 2012 | Melbourne’s Sophie Gannon Gallery has taken on representation of two new artists, Philip Hunter and Danie Mellor. Hunter is Melbourne-based landscape painter known for using a restricted palette of earth colours. His work is held by public gallery collections including the National Gallery of Australia. Mellor, who works in a range of media including scupture and drawing, is gearing up to a major survey at the University of Queensland Art Museum in 2013. New work by both artists will be included in the exhibition Debut at Sophie Gannon Gallery in March. | ||||
