Sullivan+Strumpf takes on Leah Emery - Australian Art Collector

12 September 2011 | Leah Emery has joined the stable at Sydney’s Sullivan+Strumpf Fine Art.

Emery, a young Brisbane-based artist, is known for rendering pornographic images in cross-stitch, a technique which produces a clash of sensibilities between the domestic nature of the medium she uses and the explicit nature of the images she references.

Emery’s first exhibition with her new Sydney dealer will take place in April 2012.
