Sydney Contemporary releases first line up - Art Collector

12 June 2013 | The inaugural Sydney Contemporary art fair has revealed the first line up of participating galleries as well as details of its exhibition sectors.

Over 70 galleries have been confirmed across this initial announcement and one third of them are international. They include Paragon, London; 10 Chancery Lane, Hong Kong; China Art Projects, Beijing; and Sundaram Tagore Gallery, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.

A strong contingent of Australian and New Zealand galleries will also feature, including Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Sydney; Sutton Gallery, Melbourne; Michael Lett, Auckland; and Starkwhite, Auckland.

Barry Keldoulis, fair director of Sydney Contemporary, stated that the robust list of confirmed galleries will cater to both experienced and new art collectors.

The exhibition sectors include
Current Contemporary, which will be the main gallery section, as well as Future Contemporary, Project Contemporary and Video Contemporary.
