10 July 2013 | Sydney Contemporary has just announced details of the talks program and curatorial partnerships for its inaugural edition - Talk Contemporary, Installation Contemporary and Video Contemporary. This announcement also revealed an expanded exhibitor list - there are now over 80 confirmed galleries, which you can read about here.

Talk Contemporary consists of four panels discussing four engaging topics including the anti-aesthetic versus beauty in art, and the motivations to collect art from Australia or from the world stage. Speakers at Talk Contemporary will include Kaldor Public Art Projects founder John Kaldor, actor Rachel Griffiths, director of the fair Barry Keldoulis, and artists such as Del Kathryn Barton and Nell.

Two of Sydney's not for profit arts organisations are also confirmed as curatorial partners. 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art director Aaron Seeto will curate
Installation Contemporary, and Artspace curator Mark Feary will direct Video Contemporary. The participating installation and video artists will be revealed closer to the fair opening.

Sydney Contemporary will be held at arts institution Carriageworks in Redfern from 19 until 22 September 2013.
