Thea Costantino joins Galerie Dusseldorf - Art Collector

18 October 2010 | Perth’s Galerie Düsseldorf has taken on representation of Thea Costantino.

Costantino is also the winner of the Galerie Düsseldorf / Curtin University Department of Art Post Graduate Scholarship Award, which has been running since 1998.

The Perth-based artist is also known as a curator, having working for projects including
Revelations: contemporary visions of apocalypse at the Fremantle Arts Centre in 2009, as well as a writer and playwright. Last year Costantino teamed up with collaborative duo Taryn Gill and Pilar Mata Dupont to write and produce their theatre project Hold Your Horses.

New work by Costantino is currently on view in the solo exhibition
Diseased Estate at the John Curtin Gallery, which is being staged alongside solo exhibitions from four other graduating female artists. Costantino is graduating from Curtin University with a Doctor of Philosophy.
