VICTORIA REICHELT SELLS OUT IN KOREA
Victoria Reichelt sells out in Korea - Art Collector
|10 October 2011 | Victoria Reichelt’s solo exhibition with Dianne Tanzer Gallery +Projects at the Korea International Art Fair in September was a sell out. |
Dianne Tanzer Gallery + Projects took 16 pieces to KIAF, eight paintings of magazine stacks which were approximately $9,000 each, and eight smaller life magazine covers priced around $6,000.
“We sold to local Korean collectors and also Singaporean collectors,” reports gallery manager Bettina Garnier. “They generally bought more than one artwork and were most interested in meeting Victoria, who travelled with us to the fair.”
Also reporting success at the fair was Melbourne’s MARS Gallery, which sold pieces by Bill Sampson and Sam Tupou.
