For her upcoming exhibition at Ryan Renshaw Gallery, Viv Miller has produced a series of ‘self digesting abstract images’. She continues to experiment with the use of synthetic materials in combination with traditional art supplies and with this invites the viewer to challenge painting as a medium. In her most recent work she highlights issues of reality verses the digital, including our relationship within these forces. Miller has created drawings indicative of the chaos found within one’s own digestive system, as one discreet section flows onto the next, and snakes and coils around other parts.
