4 December 2012 | Vivian Cooper Smith is the latest artist to exhibit their work on the Centre for Contemporary Photography billboard in Collingwood, Melbourne.

The billboard project, run in conjunction with the City of Yarra, has previously showcased the work of Simon Terrill and Laki Sideris.

Cooper Smith, a New Zealand born artist who has lived in Melbourne since 2000, installed a work that uses the texture of a crushed photograph to look at issues of memory, loss and nostalgia.

His work will remain on show until the end of January. The billboard is on the corner of Smith and Otter streets in Collingwood.
