Young curators win NAVA mentorships - Art Collector

23 May 2011 | The National Association for the Visual Arts has announced the five young winners of its Curator Mentorship Initiative, which provides funds and support for a three to 12 month mentorship at a gallery, art institution of university.

Melbourne-based Laura Castagnini will be mentored by Vikki McInnes. She will work on group exhibition of Australian and international feminist artists which will take place at the Margaret Lawrence Gallery in Melbourne in 2013.

Anusha Kenny, also from Melbourne will be mentored by Zara Stanhope. She will curate the exhibition Hunger, and present public workshops that engage the local community of Footscray.

In New South Wales, Todd Fuller will be mentored by Virginia Mitchell at the Cessnock Regional Art Gallery in the Hunter Valley, and the collaborative curating team of Emma Johnson and Gabrielle Mordy will be mentored by Colin Rhodes.
